Who I AM
Germaine Jenkins (she/they) is an internationally recognized food systems leader with a lifetime of experience ‘struggling up’ through poverty, neurospiciness, and working motherhood to urban agriculture, retail and community education rooted in ancestral conservation and farming practices and collective power.
Her collaborations transform historically ignored Black and Brown neighborhoods into thriving, award and resource winning hubs for fresh food access, jobs, education, and community wealth.
Germaine is a radically relational farmer with a community-first approach that places trust, dignity, and long-term stewardship at the heart of food systems change.
What I Believe
Food, land and social justice are not side projects.
A peaceful home is the best medicine, even when you start in an apartment.
Communities already hold the solutions.
Honest conversations, the right consultants and regular checks lead to the best groceries.
What I Do
Aggregated crops and high quality ingredients transformed into heat and eat meals
I work with organizations, cities, universities, and companies to:
Design equitable food systems that last
Translate food justice principles into actionable strategy
Support community-led models of land stewardship and wealth building
Help institutions move from intention to impact
My work sits at the intersection of food and land sovereignty, regeneration, strategic pivoting and narrative change.
